Spring in Bloom
Amanda Glazar
Gibbs is an 11.5 year old Australian Shepherd. He was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma at 9.5 after a splenectomy found a nodule. He completed 6 months of chemotherapy after surgery. Before diagnosis Gibbs was very active in agility and scent work competitions and he didn’t let cancer slow him down. After diagnosis he has gone on to earn 5 agility championship titles and his NW3 and Master scent work titles! He remains in remission, continues to lead an active life and is currently raising a new puppy in our family. We are so lucky that we caught the cancer early and that he responded so well to treatment.
