Ranger
Trina Takasato
Ranger came into our lives at just 5 weeks old. He brought such a love and connection to everyone who met him. He had just turned 8 years old and on Dec 1, 2024 he had a look on his face that something was wrong. I checked him over and then looked at his gums and they were white. I knew something was wrong and rushed him to emergency. He was bleeding internally and had emergency surgery that day.
We were given the heartbreaking news he had Hemangiosarcoma on his liver. We knew we only bought him some time before it would spread. Within a month it had already showed up on his other organs and we knew his time was near. We had two months with him before another rupture and we were able to say goodbye peacefully at home.
He was an amazing dog and only wish I had a lifetime with him. Our hope is one day to have a cure or less occurrences of this deadly cancer.
