Minzi Hall
Sommer Hall
Minzi Hall was a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback who was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in March 2024. We did pursue different treatments for her in hopes her cancer would go into remission; however, over the course of nine months, her cancer took over and we lost her on November 17, 2024 at the age of 12.9 years. Minzi fought as hard as she could for as long as she could throughout her diagnosis. She always had a strong fighting spirit in her. She loved every person and dog she met and wanted to be everyone’s friend and everyone to be her friend. Minzi was an exceptionally loyal dog who loved a lot of things, but loved her family and being with her family the most. In 2017, Minzi was my inspiration for a career change and led me to get certified in canine rehabilitation in 2018. Following certification, Minzi also became my inspiration for starting my own business and helping other dogs and pet parents so they not only feel better and stronger, but can enjoy as much time together for as long as possible with a good quality of life. Minzi was and always will be the greatest blessing of my life. She enriched my life in so many ways and gave me so many gifts. Minzi helped change me and help me grow into the person I am today. She also gave me the gift to help others. These gifts and blessings will be with me forever and although I miss her dearly every day, I am grateful I got to be Minzi’s mom for almost 13 years.
