Grace Fisher
Sara Fisher
Grace’s subtle symptoms began in March At first she was a bit quieter and less playful a little less like herself. Then she was eating a bit less, then only once a day. An ultrasound found enlarged lymph nodes in her abdomen. It was lymphoma, only the sneaky kind….with no visible swelling.
Despite chemotherapy and access to the best vet care at the hospital I work for, she progressed quickly and within 2 weeks lymphoma took her from me. The day I lost her a massive piece of my heart went with her.
I am hoping that by sharing her story we can raise awareness for earlier detection and ultimately a cure.
