Duncan
Trischa Carr
Duncan was not only my dog but he was also my soul mate. He was always there to greet me when I come home, when I was happy and when I cried. He was my confidante and I know he understood whatever I was talking to him about. His eyes never looked away when I was talking to him. He loved when I would take leaves into a pile and would throw a lacrosse ball into it so he could jump in there and find the ball. Then he loved it when I covered him up with the leaves as if he was playing hide and seek with me. He was a gentle giant. He’d make friends with baby chicks and even toads! I miss his heart and his soul. I lost him to cancer. A tumor that we had no idea about, was on his spleen and burst causing blood to pool in his abdomen. I lost the only true best friend and family member I have ever had. I think of him every day and when I think of the days when the leaves were falling, it puts a smile on my face. He was the most loving and kind soul!
