Splatter

I adopted Splatter in June 2002 from the Humane Society of Central Oregon when he was 3 mos old. An English Setter/Great Pyr mix, he rapidly became my heart dog. We traveled from Oregon to an island off the coast of Maine where we lived with his brothers, Spudley and Jasper, for 7 years. During that time, Splatter became the first mixed breed dog to appear as a model for Fetchdog Magazine (now In the Company of Dogs). We then traveled to Michigan for 3 years and then to Sedona, Arizona in 2016. He was always by my side. He succumbed to cancer on the 1st day of Summer, 2017. I miss him every singled day. He was the best dog ever!
